![]() Greetings to May and the cusp of spring to summer. This week I grieve the announced closure of Marylhurst University. The university where I received my masters in art therapy and more recently have been teaching adjunct. I am just devastated for the students who's lives are at this unexpected transition. I feel for the other faculty, the families. The sad part is, that the art therapy program has been rated 4th in the nation, but the university's debts have consumed the program for now. Sometimes our life journey faces moments we weren't prepared for. Facing these moments can be a full of strife, conflict, anger...so many feelings the list could go on. What we do next in these moments to take care of ourselves will have a lasting impact. It is vital to honor and validate these feelings in our process, difficult as they may be. This month's journal prompt will explore this further. In this issue I have also included articles on chronic pain, acupuncture and then also information on Jasmine essential oil. Try to accept what each day brings with gratitude and kindness. If you ever have a wellness tip you would like to share, email it to me! I would love to hear what is working for you and share it. It's an honor to be a part of your journey. Until next time, be kind to yourself. Warm wishes, Beth Ann CLICK HERE FOR NEWSLETTER Remember enjoy the process and let go of the product. Life is process...life is art. :)
